Kathy Denious, M.Ed., is the founder of The Elle Center, a language and literacy center that provides individualized instruction for students of all ages. Kathy has over 10 years of experience in evidence-aligned instruction and holds a Master of Education from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Purdue University. She is also certified as a Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher and in the Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading by The Center for Effective Reading Instruction. Kathy’s approach, grounded in evidence-aligned practices and the latest research, has consistently led to remarkable student progress.

Kathy Denious, M.Ed., is the founder of The Elle Center, a language and literacy center that provides individualized instruction for students of all ages. Marti Noland brings 42 years of classroom experience, including many years as a numeracy and literacy interventionist for students in grades K-12. Her work focuses on individualized support grounded in evidence-aligned instruction that accelerates growth in reading, writing, and mathematics. Her background spans private programs and contracted services. She served as Vice President and later President of the Phoenix West Reading Council within the Arizona Reading Association and received multiple awards for her contributions to literacy education. She is passionate about helping students overcome academic challenges and reach their fullest potential, and her student-centered approach and love for teaching bring lasting, positive results.
Emma Piaseczynski, M.Ed., is a literacy interventionist at The Elle Center, where she provides individualized, one-on-one instruction in reading, writing, and spelling grounded in the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy principles. She holds a Master of Education from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Connecticut. Emma is deeply committed to evidence-aligned practices and uses ongoing assessment data to inform instructional decision-making, monitor progress, and tailor each lesson to the specific needs of her students. Emma believes that effective intervention goes beyond academic skill-building. She is passionate about fostering confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning in every student she serves.
Rikki Seleen, M.Ed., is a literacy interventionist at The Elle Center, bringing 15 years of experience across Arizona classrooms as a teacher, instructional coach, and literacy interventionist. She holds a Master of Education from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University, and endorsements in Reading, Early Childhood Education, and Structured English Immersion. Rikki believes reading is a human right and that every child is capable of success. She helps students build a growth mindset through patience, positive reinforcement, and immediate feedback, and she stays at the forefront of reading research so her instruction reflects evidence-aligned, proven practices.
